Spend more time doing less in Occitanie, south of France.

When I started Mediterranean Work and Play, I thought I would offer others something they were missing, a chance to 'Spend more time doing less'. After a while I realized I was one of them.

The guide with our first selection of stays, 12 properties, 18 options for 2 to 10 people is now available. It is available for $25, the price of a hardcover book, when you subscribe.

Our selection of stays will be available for rent from April 1st to June 30th and then from September 1st to early November. All rentals have a 1 week minimum. We encourage you to split your time in Occitanie between 2 different areas as they all have different things to offer.

Weekly rates range from $490 to $2700.

We left the summer months out so you can experience life like the locals and winter months out so the weather cooperates with your outdoors activities.

There will also be a companion newsletter published once or twice a month.

Access to the guide is by subscription only. That first subscription will last until December 31, 2024.

For more details order our Spend More Time Doing Less Guide for the price of a book, $25.

The guide will by updated throughout the year.

A la carte activities will be included in an updated version on May 27.

Our 'doing less' planning fee will be $300 for 4 hours of our time and includes help in selecting the places where you will stay, advice on picking your flights and suggestions on car rentals.

We can also help you plan some activities.

For those interested, we can arrange (at most locations) to have 1 or 2 days of food staples there for you when you arrive.

Each extra hour to plan activities and/or food shopping will be $75.

You can also choose the 'basic' option where we will put you in contact with properties chosen from the guide and suggest airlines and car rentals. This will be a 1 hour commitment of our time for $75.
